The Des Moines Chess Club meets Tuesday from 6:00 to 10:00 PM From approximately May - October (weather permitting) we meet at The Chess and Poetry Garden, which is located at 1013 Locust St., Des Moines Iowa (between the Des Moines Public Library and Starbucks) The rest of the year we meet at: Caribou Coffee, 3220 Ingersoll Ave., Des Moines, IA. There is a group that meets informally at Borders on Friday Evenings at 7 p.m. Visit our sister Chess Club Borders Chess Club Chess for Kids There is a Chess Club for Children that meets Monday Evening between 06:30 - 08:00 at Valley High School.
